Today marks the first of many ‘Favorites’ blogs to come. Gluten Free Cheri will try to round up what the team has been loving monthly that’s amazing and blog worthy! Here’s our extra long starter list, divided into two posts, the one below on favorite products and the post to follow, favorite beauty. Enjoy! (Favorites may not be every month if the monthly favorites are repetitive)
Pamela’s Gluten Free Baking and Pancake Mix//
If you’ve been reading the blog then you’ve heard GFC rave about this mix. It’s already in the Heather’s Top Picks Category and just had to be in the first edition of Monthly Favorites. The reason is it is amazing for more than just pancakes, anything we’ve tried with this mix has turned out brilliantly. And we sure can’t say that about other mixes we’ve tried in the GlutenFreeCheri kitchen. Muffins and cakes are light light light with this mix. We think the secret is maybe the addition of sweet rice flour and cultured buttermilk to the genius flour mix.
Lucy’s Chocolate Chip Cookies//
Gluten Free, dairy free, egg free, you would think there would be little cookie left, and yet what is left is the perfect crispy little biscuit that begs to be dunked into a cup of almond milk. We keep reaching for these again and again out of all the GF cookies options available.
Nature’s Path Gluten Free Dark Chocolate Chip Granola Bars//
Make sure you grab the ‘gluten free’ ones, they make some granola bars that are not gluten free. GFC is pretty picky with granola bars and to be honest we don’t like most and prefer to make them from scratch. However this brands bars are so yummy that we are willing to head to the U.S. just to stock up. If anyone finds them in Canada you must left GlutenFreeCheri know!
